More Temperaments
Somehow, I doubt that anyone who reads this blog is as interested in temperaments as I am. However, I find it fascinating. As a result, I want to be able to explain it well, and I'm afraid that I fell short last time. This is merely another explanation. I'm not forcing you to read it, and forgive me for my single-mindedness concerning topics that interest me.

The topic of temperaments fascinates me, so much that my friend and I set out to invent the most perfect mathematically possible temperament. This would require computers shifting and adjusting pitches based on what was currently being played. Anyway, midway through the project we discovered that someone had JUST beat us to it: the Hermode Tuning System. Listen to the examples; everything is as pure as possible.
